A Legacy of Colombian Craft
When life broke
In 2002, adversity struck hard: a bankruptcy changed everything. And in 2005, with nothing but their faith and their children to live by, Mariangélica and Yecid—her eternal companion and the love of her life—decided to start over. They left for Medellín with two suitcases and four of their five children , leaving behind the desert of La Guajira and the mountains of Cesar, to face an unfamiliar city with hearts full of hope.
Yecid was no ordinary man. In a land where machismo dictates destiny, he chose the opposite: to let go of his security to embrace the dream of the woman he loved. He transformed his life into that of a complete accomplice. And since then, after 27 years of marriage, they still walk together as lovers, reminding us that love can also be an act of rebellion.
